Tropica substrates: distinguish the aquarium products

Aquarium Soil, Soil Powder and nutrient-rich base substrates are different products. Check the exact reference and installation guidance in Tropica’s documentation.

Read the instructions for the chosen product

Compare the stated use, package size and layer setup. A finer format or a product intended to go under another layer is not automatically interchangeable. Do not attribute the properties of one product to the entire range.

Prepare the quantity and startup

Measure the base and planned contours, then follow the manufacturer’s checks during aquarium startup. For Aquarium Soil, the guide to that product provides a reading path. Do not promise the same nutritional capacity in every aquarium.

Potted plants: choose a different use
